| I am a writer of m/m romance/erotica that has its roots in urban fantasy, fantasy, horror, and the paranormal. I am branching out into sci-fi and contemporary romance, but I will always return to the more fantastical genres. After considering the options, my husband, my co-author, and I have decided we'd like to run a small, independent press that puts out quality titles in the alternative sexuality romances in both e-books and print (which is pretty hard to find). We also began with the foundation that a press is only as strong as its authors, and therefore we felt royalty rates and short story payouts ought to reflect that. We're a cost-neutral press, meaning we only take enough from sales to maintain the business, not turn a profit. My profit comes from the sales of my own books, through my own hard work, not on the work of those who sign with Storm Moon Press. |
